OUR MISSION
Our mission at In Touch Chiropractic is to restore the connection between the brain and body by decreasing interference in the nervous system (subluxations) through Chiropractic adjustments and other traditional wellness offerings. We pride ourselves in creating a place where patients are educated in positive lifestyle choices. We educate patients that Chiropractic care is one of the five major good health pillars; Positive Thinking, Nutrition, Exercise and Restorative Sleep. We make it easy for our patients to restore optimal health without the use of drugs or irreversible surgeries.
MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Loni Neilson was born and raised on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, where her deep connection to the community began. For many years, she was an avid equestrian, riding and working with horses and experiencing firsthand the countless minor injuries, physical demands, and wear and tear that come with an active lifestyle. Although she has temporarily hung up her riding boots while raising her young son and growing her practice, the lessons she learned through her own experiences continue to shape the way she approaches patient care. Chiropractic care has played an important role in helping Dr. Loni maintain her own health and well-being, allowing her to balance the demands of motherhood, practice ownership, and an active life.
Dr. Loni earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire. Having received chiropractic care since she was a teenager, she was already familiar with the benefits of being under chiropractic care. However, it was during her undergraduate studies, as she began learning more about the human body and its intricate systems, that she discovered her true calling to become a Chiropractor.
Fascinated by the nervous system and the body’s remarkable ability to heal, adapt, and function as a whole, Dr. Loni continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. She graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in March 2014 and returned home with a passion for bringing thoughtful, individualized chiropractic care to her community.
Since then, Dr. Loni has remained committed to helping individuals and families throughout New Hampshire and the surrounding Tri-State area move, feel, and function at their best. Her approach to chiropractic care is rooted in understanding each person’s unique needs and working with the body’s natural ability to heal and adapt.
For Dr. Loni, chiropractic is more than simply addressing pain—it is about helping people feel more connected to their bodies, move with greater ease, and live healthier, more active lives. She is honored to support her patients on that journey while continuing to grow her practice and serve the community she has always called home.
How it works
As Chiropractors we are specially trained to find interferences throughout the spine called subluxations. These interferences can disturb the flow of information from the brain to the body and vice versa. We work with the central nervous system which is the only organ system that is encased in bone, (your spine and cranium). When the spine has shifted out of alignment it can have a dramatic effect systemically in the body. Chiropractic treats the whole body by treating the spine. When the nervous system is working without interference every organ system in the body can work at its most optimal self.
